Thank you for your interest in Resonant Music. Being a professional bassist and jazz musician since the early eighties, I've always dreamed of artistic independence. A few years ago I had the opportunity to create an intimate recording studio at my rehearsal location on the fifth floor of an old cookie factory in Oslo.

After some disappointing experiences with big recording labels this newfound independence proved both challenging and refreshing. Therefore, in 1998 I decided to go one step further and start my own record label, Resonant Music. One aspect which is especially important to me is the quality of the recording. Since I only release music recorded at Resonant Studio, you will find the distinctive and personal sound to be of the highest quality.

A lot of today's greatest music is released on independent labels and with the unlimited distribution possibilities that the future holds, I believe these labels will be receiving ever more attention and gain an even larger audience.
